A platform for impactful data-driven discovery

Solving complex biomedical questions takes more than just collecting more data—it requires innovative assays, novel study systems, and automated processes that produce consistent, high-quality results. Given the breadth of biomedical research, we often need custom solutions and infrastructure for unique samples, devices, and readouts. At HTS, we aim to democratize data production and analysis so we empower all researchers to extract meaningful insights.

We welcome collaborations with investigators interested in leveraging our platform. Contact us to schedule an initial consultation and develop a tailored cost estimate based on your project scope.

High Content Screening

High-content screening (HCS) is an image-based approach that combines automated microscopy and quantitative analysis to extract rich, multiparametric data from cells. It enables detailed measurement of features such as morphology, organelle structure, and protein localization in response to genetic or chemical perturbations. It is used in drug discovery and systems biology to profile cellular responses at scale.

At HTS, we offer high-speed, high-resolution confocal and widefield imaging using the Operetta CLS, supporting both fixed and live-cell assays. Our workflows include time-lapse imaging of 2D and 3D cellular models under full environmental control, enabling dynamic phenotypic analysis over time. For data analysis, we provide both instrument-integrated machine learning tools and support for custom ML/AI pipelines developed in-house.

Functional Precision Medicine & NAMs

Functional precision medicine (FPM) uses patient-derived samples—such as tumor resections, biopsies, ascites, or organoids—to directly measure therapeutic responses. By integrating these human-relevant experimental systems (aligned with emerging New Approach Methodologies, or NAMs), FPM generates phenotypic data that captures the complexity of cellular heterogeneity, microenvironmental influences, and adaptive resistance that shape treatment outcomes. This makes FPM a powerful complement to traditional precision medicine, especially in contexts where molecular profiles alone fail to accurately predict response.

At HTS, we receive fresh clinical specimens and rapidly process them for high-throughput functional profiling under rigorously standardized conditions. Leveraging automation, multiplexed perturbations, and single-cell analytics, our platform applies NAMs-aligned practices to produce reproducible, mechanistically informative data. By integrating functional phenotypes with molecular context, we help identify treatment strategies that may be overlooked by genomic profiling alone and generate multimodal datasets that bridge preclinical discovery with patient-specific therapy selection.
